TUESDAY FEB 8 CANCELED DUE TO GALE WARNING

We have had a run of beautiful weather, calm seas, sunshine and lots of whales. The forecast for tomorrow is for a gale ( 32 - 38 kts) so we are bagging the trip. We have seen whales on every trip this season so far!! Yea! Maybe on Thursday if the weather comes down.

GREAT TRIP SATURDAY!!

We followed a gray whale today with lots of tail shots, nice weather too. I have canceled the whale watch for Sunday January 30, due to not enough passengers. If you want to go on Sunday call Virg's landing @ 805 772 1222 I think they are going whale watching at 9:30. I will try to get a trip together on Tuesday.

MORE GRAY WHALES!!!

Today was one of the best gray whale trips of the year!! We saw 7-8 whales in the area and followed 2 for about an hour. They were very active whales rolling around and breeching twice right next to the boat. Too cool! We have been seeing STELLAR SEALIONS on the entrance buoy. Stellar sea lions are very rare in this area. We also cruised with a large pod of RISSO'S DOLPHINS for about 15 min.
